Heat Pumps from OCHSNER are used today for heating and cooling
condominiums, hotels, office
buildings, schools and leisure
facilities and for recovery of waste heat in industrial
processes. |
Through
savings energy and operating cost, the use of large
heat pumps is particularly economical compared to conventional heating
or cooling systems and contributes dramatically to a reduction in
pollution.
 Technical
advantages Because
of the variety of applications the details are quoted for each application.
However the following description generally applies: Heat
pumps in industrial design are equipped with semihermetic scew compressors
of highest quality. Scoll and rotary screw compressors
have no reciprocating parts and have thereby smooth operation.
The rotary screw compressors used by OCHSNER have been developed
for use in refrigeration technology and have special screw profiles
for the highest efficiencies. A special stepless
control is used: Over a control piston the load on the screws is
varied steplessly and adapted to the capacity required. Tube
and shell evaporators and condensers are normally used with water
to water and brine to water heat pumps. The heat exchangers are
mounted on sturdy frames on the units. A sound reducing housing
can be provided on request .
Refrigerant as Working
Liquid OCHSNER
use only non-flammable safety refrigerants like
R 134a or R 407C which are chlorine free and have no Ozone
Depletion Potential ( ODP of zero) The selection depends among other
things on the desired temperature rise and/or the condensation temperature
(temperature level of the use of Heat Pump). Heat
Pumps with these refrigerants can be installed at almost any indoor
location. Controls Control
is provided to meet the respective requirements. The microprocessor
keeps the selected temperature of the condenser or the evaporator
water connection constant or delivers the required flow temperature
rate according to outside air temperature. All safety controls are
provided to protect the units from overheating or freezing, false
rotation, electric motor protection, gear and others.
