Low Energy
House |
| The
lower the heating requirement for a buildings becomes, the
more innovative the heating systems should be. |
A
Heat Pump system is the best suitable in this case, ideal for the
heating, ventilation and/or water heating of a passive-house or
a low-energy building.
The future has just begun:
Heat Pumps particularily for the passive and low-energy building The
low amount of heat needed in a low-energy building as well as controlled
dwelling ventilation make special Heat Pump systems necessary.
A
combination with thermal solar collectors or energy pipes for heating the supply air is possible if requested
but not always reasonable. The following heat pump systems are especially appropriate for this use: The OCHSNER Europa Mini-EWP ground heat system and the exhaust air system Europa Mini IWP.
With
the low-energy house the heat requirement is usually between
4 to 7 KW. The passive house has theoretically zero heat
energy requirement but for comfort and safety reasons 2 to 4 KW heating
capacity should be provided. Oil
heating system are not available for such small capacities and a
gas-connection would be too expensive for such a low consumption
of energy. In this case the ideal system ist the OCHSNER heat pump GMDW6 (ground heat - direct expansion system)
Mini Ground Heat System Europa Mini EWP
With
a heating capacity starting from 1,5 KW these mini heat
pump systems use the economical and simple direct expansion system for ground heat. Any
heating system can be operated or completed (under-floor heating,
wall heating, radiator heating or fan-coils). An air to water heat
exchanger could preheat fresh supply air.
The
Europa Mini EWP needs one or two copper tube collectors which will find
enough space around the house when digging its foundation or use
very little of the gardens area.
Dwelling Ventilation - Europa Exhaust Air Heat Pumps
Low energy or passive houses need controlled dwelling ventilation systems. In this case OCHSNER Europa heat pumps are ideal exhaust air systems with heat recovery for hot water generation.
With this kind of heat pumps all kinds of tanks can be used and they can be combined with other heating systems like solar collectors or biomass. |
